# ObiFID

> Independent valuation and market intelligence for assets without a ticker, starting with luxury watches. Analytics only: ObiFID does not buy, sell, broker or hold assets, does not accept paid placement, and does not provide investment advice or price predictions.

Status: pre-launch (early access). Live search, the API and the ObiFID Watch Index are in development. Figures on the homepage labeled "Sample data" are illustrative and do not describe real watches or listings.

## What ObiFID provides (at launch)
- Find: unified search by brand, model or reference, resolved to a canonical watch ID; normalized listings across connected marketplaces, dealers and auction houses; each listing priced against a condition-adjusted fair-value range, with net edge after buying and resale costs; liquidity indicators; sentiment overlays; trend direction; detected valuation peaks and troughs; fraud screening of too-good-to-be-true listings.
- Market intelligence: marketplace sentiment, listing velocity, auction momentum, scarcity cycles, hype cycles, valuation peaks and troughs, trend directionality.
- ObiFID Watch Index (in development): a rules-based price index and a net-of-cost return index with confidence bands. The rulebook will be published before the first release.
- Every value carries a timestamp, a confidence range, a data-quality grade (A–E) and flags (e.g., THIN_DATA, LISTING_ONLY, SINGLE_SOURCE, STALE, MODEL_FALLBACK, ENTITY_AMBIGUOUS).
